History of Soap

Everything you wanted to know about soap,  you really did not want to know, such a mundane subject soap... Maybe you do not care what is in soap, I get that... the soap you use you have been using all your life. Your Grandmother used it, Your mother used it,  Now you use the same brand, same size, same color and the same scent,  as they did because change is so hard...

Why change? Why should you change?  That being said

What is in your soap?

Have you ever read the package, are the ingredients listed?  Do you know what those ingredients are?  In other words what is it ?

When I do shows the #1 question people ask me is how do you make it?  I could talk about sodium
hydroxide,  trace (saponify) and temperature, stick blender,  measuring etc...     People really do not want to hear all that,  my pat answer is Water Lye, and Oils.

No person has ever asked me what lye is... strange.. Any-t-ways. People really do not want to know, For the millions of people that do want to know  (soap is a billion dollar industry). I feel it is my job to tell you... so here goes in a series for how ever long it takes for you to understand.

Your skin and your soap should be partners...
